This sounds like a great opportunity.
Source of Success, a United Way Agency, in Caledonia is looking for mentors to work with 6th and 7th grade students after school. Students are identified by their teachers as needing a little extra help with homework and skills.
We are looking for college students to share their time and talent!
Once the students are signed into the program they come to Connor House 2 days a week from 3 till 5:00. The 6th grade students attend on Monday and Wednesday, 7th grade on Tuesday and Thursday.
We also have adult volunteers from the community. A one day commitment following the school calendar and orientation are all we are looking for. This is a separate entity from the school district but we have open communication with teachers and administration, forming a team to help kids. If interested, please contact Sharon Balonek, Director at 538-2003 or
